Temptations
|
Temptations is a chain of ladies' intimatewear stores dedicated to providing a complete
private label assortment at excellent value combined with personal and highly knowledgeable
service. We launched Temptations in March 2005, in four freestanding stores of 250
to 300 square metres and six "shop-within-ashop" locations within Edgars stores
(these shops were converted to freestanding stores during the course of the financial
year). A further 16 stores were added during the September to December timeframe
bringing the total store count to 20 stores. Sales volumes continue to improve on
a monthly basis as assortments are improved and a customer base is developed. The
long-term plan is to make this exclusively a freestanding concept of 40 to 50 locations.
