Prato is a chain of footwear stores targeting 16 to 30 year old consumers, offering a heavily branded product assortment with credit facilities available. The chain was launched in August 2004 by discontinuing the ABC shoes chain and converting the five remaining locations to Prato. A further eight stores were added during the financial year bringing the total store count to 13 stores
